The package can be used to perform simple image operations, such as rotating and cropping data, prior to the decomposition process. Decomposition can be performed using any set of orthogonal kernel functions, but in this package the Chebyshev polynomials have been used.
This is an implementation of the algorithms behind the Theon package that can be run entirely within a webpage. This means that no software needs to be installed in order to perform decomposition. Web Theon has two sets of example data, with the experiment data from digital image correlation and the simulation data from finite element analysis.
